It is the fundamental purpose of our school to support our girls in every aspect of their life. At Woldingham we respect intellectual values of our students far beyond their examination results. Years 7-9

The younger years (Years 7-9) are our most priority because this is when the girls start to decide about their future educational career. Our goal is to prepare each girl for their academic career and to enjoy their time at school. We also want to develop their basic skills and habits of organisation and independent learning. Some of our girls are short term students, and our students usually prepare for the Cambridge Examinations, either PET, FCE, or CAE according to their level of English language. Our purpose is to make sure that their language abilities are enough for them to pass the examinations. At GCSE the compulsory subjects are English Language, English Literature, Mathematics and Religious Studies. All students are also expected to take at least one foreign language. Apart from this, students choose either two or three options from Geography, History, ICT, PE, a second language, Art, Drama, Music and Design & Technology.

In Sixth Form all students choose a minimum of four AS subjects and three A2 subjects. All the subjects offered at GCSE are represented, as well as new subjects such as Economics, Business Studies, Politics, Psychology, History of Art, Art Textiles and Classical Civilisation. Those students who decide for Maths and Further Maths mostly take five subjects at AS and four at A2. Expert guidance on GCSE/IGCSE and A level options is provided during the Years 9 and 11.
