Girls and boys have separate boarding school accommodation and all access to it is controlled by electronic key cards. The first floor rooms are singles or doubles and the dormitories on the top floor accommodate up to 20 children. They are comfortable, bright and clean with single or bunk beds, a wardrobe, under bed storage and desk for each child. There are common rooms for boarders and a recreational area in each dormitory. The Housemaster lives in a downstairs flat and the boarding staff also have rooms within the school. Students have access to members of staff on duty in the evening and near their sleeping quarters during the night. When students are ill and need more personal care, they can be accommodated in our medical facility.

Location Description

All camps take place at St John’s School Sidmouth, a co-educational independent school situated in the wonderful Devon countryside overlooking the sea in Sidmouth.

The school is easily accessible from London, Bristol and Exeter (all with international airports) and transport to and from airports can be arranged at the beginning and end of half term/term. There are also regular direct trains from London to Exeter and Honiton (our nearest mainline railway station).
The school has its own minibus service for day pupils and homestay boarders which serves the surrounding districts including Exeter, Exmouth, Axminster, Honiton and Lyme Regis.
