Scarborough College is delighted with another excellent set of results in the prestigious International Baccalaureate examinations. The average point score of over 33 is the best yet for this International Baccalaureate, Boarding School which has one of the best performing sixth forms in the north of England, based on its UCAS point scores. The IB Diploma requires students to study six subjects to an advanced level, including maths, a modern language and a science. Some students did particularly well including Francesca Houghton who scored a blistering 44 points, out of a maximum 45 points. This places her in the top 2% of students world wide which is pretty impressive!

By road: Scarborough is easily accessible from the A64.

Air: Humberside airport and Leeds Bradford airport are both 1 hour 40 minutes away by car and Manchester airport is 2 hours 20 minutes, making them all within easy reach.

Rail: Regular trains run from London and Edinburgh, change at York for Scarborough. Coast to coast lines run daily, calling at all major cities; Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, York and Scarborough. Scarborough College is approximately 5 minutes by taxi from the station.
