Introduction
San Domenico is a co-educational K to 12 day and boarding school nestled in the hills of Marin County, CA, on 515 acres of land. SD is an ethnically, culturally, and geographically diverse community. There are approximately 300 students in grades 9-12. Approximately 50% of the student body resides on campus. 40% of our students are international students. Boarding students live on-campus during the school year while flex boarding students spend Monday through Friday on campus and then return home for weekends. The boarding program has a large number of international students, including students from China, Thailand, South Korea, and Mexico. 168-year history as California’s first independent school gives us strength in character that lasts through time. It is with tremendous appreciation and humility that we carry on a tradition of inquiry, respectful discourse, a striving toward peace and social justice, and an inspired sense of purpose and service.
