Academic life
The school’s new future-focused Sixth Form curriculum launched in 2025 and has been crafted to give students flexibility, choice, and challenge. It is comprised of a wide range of A Level subjects, a Future Skills Programme which has been designed to equip girls with essential 21st century skills, along with academic and co-curricular electives.
Sport and culture
Strong athletes are a distinctive feature of sporting life at our school. Girls have gone on to represent the county and region, and more recently have gained international honours. We also have members of PE staff who have played sport at the highest level and hold international representative honours. As part of the Girls’ Day School Trust we have unique opportunities to take part in many GDST tournaments. Competitions are held in gymnastics, dance, cross country, netball, hockey, tennis, cricket, athletics, golf and swimming. Our girls also regularly compete in many local and national competitions as well as against other schools in the area.
