Students who enter the Sixth Form Boarding School and want to study a subject to AS or A2 levels should have obtained a minimum grade of C at GCSE level in that subject. From time to time some students are admitted onto A level courses with lower grades however, there might occur some special conditions for this. All of our students should have similar qualification in order to keep the high level of education which we provide.

Most of students of this top 100 boarding schools in UK are full boarders however, they have a small number of those who return home for the weekend. All students are housed on the Main School and there are several floors of dormitories and common rooms. The boys are set in Rothley, Hawksdale, Lonsdale and Salkeld boarding areas. All girls now occupy new dormitory – ‘The Cottage’.
