The education programme at the Junior School is based on traditional values combined with a modern approach. Our goal is to provide a basics of learning which are in accordance with the National Curriculum but enriched within many areas of study.
We put a lot of emphasis on supporting our students to transform into conscious readers and to be able to think logically. Lessons in the Junior School include Maths, English, Science, History, Geography, Art & Design, Computing, Music and PE. French is presented on the basis of games, songs and activities, and later on is taught more formally. Latin is also introduced in year 6.
In the Senior School, we provide a wide range of stimulating activities. The lessons are accompanied with a variety of activities and trips. We offer a wide range of subjects at GCSE.
At AS/A level there are up to 19 subjects to choose from: Biology to Fine Art, Further Maths to French, Textiles to English Literature. The school is also very flexible about subject combinations and girls can choose those subjects which according to their abilities and skills.
Extra curricular activities include a thriving choir and chamber orchestra, debating and public speaking societies. After school, Duke of Edinburgh training is popular and photography, creative writing and ceramics courses run. What is more, in our offer you will find a great choice of sport activities and clubs.
