About the school
Since 1874, Monte Rosa has been offering a wide range of academic programs in both general subject areas and intensive language studies, taught by enthusiastic teaching experts, in a family-like atmosphere conducive to learning. Adopting its current name in the 1960s, the ‘Institut Monte Rosa’ became co-educational in 1964. To this day, the school has been using its vast experience to demonstrate, each day anew, that successful studies begin with the quality of the surrounding environment.
Comfortable campus of 6’000m2 with sport facilities. Boys and girls benefit from separate housing. Accommodation in double or triple rooms (single rooms are available upon request at special rates). All rooms are furnished to European standards and offer a splendid view of Lake Geneva.

For more than a century, our international boarding school has built an excellent reputation through our constant endeavour to educate in an environment that empowers learning. A wonderful Winter action-packed program. The winter courses enable boys and girls aged from 8 to 19 years old to learn a language or perfect their linguistic skills in an international atmosphere, with an exciting program of Winter sports and cultural excursions. A great advantage of living on our campus in Montreux is the easy access to about 15 different ski resorts. Students will have the chance to discover various ski resorts during their stay. Available for day school or boarding school students. Possibility of participating in the Academic Year program depending on age and English level. Language certificate of attendance at the end of the student’s stay. Private lessons available on request
