Introduction
Harrogate Ladies College is the senior boarding school for girls aged 11 – 18, on a campus of 600 students; boys and girls aged 2 – 11 attend our Pre-Prep and Prep Schools. The College now consists of three divisions: Bankfield (ages 2–4), Highfield (ages 4–11) and the main school (ages 11+).
Outstanding teaching, strong pastoral support and a secure, friendly community allow girls to excel academically and become confident, amazing young women who strive to be the very best they can be. Students of this top English boarding school achieve excellent results in A levels and GCSEs and over 75% typically receive offers from top Russell Group universities.
Boarding is at the heart of our school ethos and around forty percent of our students are boarders. Our boarders come from more than 20 different countries and are fully integrated into our school community. Our boarders live in traditional family houses with an extended family of boarding staff to care for and support them.
Life at this great boarding school UK gives students the opportunity to excel outside the classroom in a wide range of specialist fields including sports, drama and music. We have over 50 extra-curricular clubs and societies available for students and a full weekend programme for day and boarding pupils.
