Introduction
The FSG Academy supports student-athletes in every area of their development to become an excellent athlete. High quality sports and academics in combination with dedicated teachers and trainers; guarantee an environment in which the student-athlete can excel.
Every student-athlete will become a Royal Eagle at our Academy and strive for the best like an Eagle, King of the air. The Eagle is also the symbol for the city of Apeldoorn. The Dutch Royal Family owns a beautiful castle in the woods surrounding Apeldoorn. Combine these facts and the name Royal Eagle is born. The FSG Academy is the official home of The Royal Eagles.
The FSG Academy hosts 14 main sport programs. All top sports programs are tailor made for each individual or team. The FSG Academy provides boarding and hotel facilities, it also offers international educational programs from secondary 1 to master studies, and it organizes sports camps and team training camps.
The FSG Academy provides boarding facilities, sport programs and educational programs. We provide the IB Diploma Programme in collaboration with Rivers International School Arnhem.

About the school
The FSG Academy is located in Apeldoorn. Apeldoorn is situated in the centre of the Netherlands, with airports and major cities all located within 1 hour drive or train-ride. With a population of more than 155.000 people it belongs to the top-10 largest Dutch cities. It offers excellent opportunities for extra-curricular activities and recreation.
The FSG Academy campus is a secured area, located only minutes from the city centre. It has all the training, boarding and other facilities you would expect on a sports campus. It has its own health department, with medical doctors, physiotherapists, orthopaedic surgeons, dieticians and other sports related (para-)medical disciplines. The boarding rooms are modern apartments, with the option to share a room or live in a single-room apartment.
All students are housed in a single large building, with all nationalities, sports and ages mixed throughout the building which enhances the strong community feeling.
They have boarding personnel present 24/7, who are specially trained to care for international students and athletes who are between 13 and 21 years old.
The IB Diploma Programme (DP) is a challenging and demanding two-year curriculum, primarily aimed at students aged 16 to 19.
IBA in Sport Business Management (BBA Hons) is for students who are passionate about sport and want to gain management and leadership skills in this expanding and exciting industry.

The FSG Academy offers the athlete a wide variety of sports at A-class facilities nearby the campus, where they can train and perform at the highest level. The residential facilities provide athletes with everything they desire and ensure there is a constant focus on training.

Besides fulltime sports programs in combination with an academic program FSG Academy also organizes camps all year round. At Academy there are possible professional camps for several sports: Tennis, Basketball, Football (soccer) and Hockey (field). They also organize multi-sports camps, with different kinds of sports during stay at the FSG Academy. The professional trainers/coaches will challenge to get the best out of you every day. All camp visits can be combined with a language course, fun activities and cultural trips.
Sports program
The sports camps consist of an additional training program and a specific sports program. The FSG Academy will provide a balanced program between sports, culture and academics for each student-athlete.
Cultural program
During your stay you will also visit the highlights of the Netherlands. Cultural trips you can expect during the summer camps are: the house of Anne Frank, the Rijksmuseum, the Delta works, the Kinderdijk (windmills), Volendam and the port of Rotterdam
Language program
The language program will be taught by a native speaker. At the end of the language course everybody will receive an official certificate. If you are interested in a language program without sports it is also possible.
