This is UK boarding school in Bede. Bede's is a coeducational independent private boarding school for 13 – 18 year olds for boys and girls, located in Hailsham, East Sussex, England. This Top UK boarding School is set in 100 beautiful acres of the Sussex Downs. Our current student roll is 800, with approximately 300 of our students boarding at one of our 5 stunning boarding houses. Bede's Senior School is situated in the heart of the rural village of Upper Dicker, which brings a sincere sense of community to the school. It is a place where every pupil is truly treated as an individual, where we enrich young people in a holistic way – not only for success in the material sense, but in a way which enables them to flourish meaningfully as rounded human beings. This Top UK boarding School offers academic scholarships based on the school's own tests, interview and reference, as well as in areas such as Music, Art, Drama and Sports. At GCSE there are over 60 subjects on offer. In the Sixth Form over 30 courses which may be A-Level, BTEC, National Diploma or Cambridge Pre-U. The Co-Curricular activities programme provides over 120 choices for three days each week.
