West Buckland School in West Bucckland, Barnstaple was founded in 1858 and is an independent day and boarding school for boys and girls set in 100 acres of beautiful North Devon countryside in the South West of England.
Today, West Buckland is top 10 UK boarding schools, with a strong supportive community, welcoming about 700 children aged from three to eighteen years into our Nursery, Preparatory, Senior School and Sixth Form Boarding.

Sixth Form Boarding School
We currently have around 130 students studying at A-levels Boarding School in a range of subjects, enabling them to progress to degree courses of all kinds. Many students have been at West Buckland throughout their education, while increasing numbers are joining us after completing their GCSEs at other schools in the UK. We also welcome sixth formers from many other countries who wish to enjoy the unique ethos of the West Buckland Sixth Form Boarding School.
