The College was founded in 1840 to serve to the people form Liverpool. William Ewart Gladstone spoke at the foundation and was one of the founders of the College. In 1929, the College moved into its current premises in the suburbs of Mossley Hill. Since 1993 we are a fully coeducational boarding and day school and we are proud to provide education for both boys and girls.

Recently, this independent boarding school underwent number of modernisation works both within the external aspect of our school, as well as in the educational curriculum.
