Friends’ School is a school which wants to make a difference – despite we are quite a small school we have a huge spirit to educate and support our students. Our school is located in the historic town of Saffron Walden, on the Cambridgeshire and Essex border.

We offer a Senior, Junior and Nursery school on the same site, and this allows our students to socialise with each other from the very beginning. The School has an excellent record of results in both GCSE and A Level exams, and we ca offer a great choice of subjects. We can also provide you with an extensive programme of extra-curricular activities and many popular clubs which you may attend.

Our site is home to both a senior and a Junior School, so that we are able to offer education at the different levels of development. Moreover, because of the fact that our students grow up together they can challenge and face new opportunities, master their skills, and learn more about cooperation and team work. Our students have an access to specialist teaching areas, such as modern languages and Design Technology, by making use of the staff and facilities from the Senior School. We combine our knowledge from both sections of our School and we try to make our students grow up together and spend their time in an active and challenging manner.

Sixth form is not just a motivation and an inviolate stage of presenting applications for colleges and universities it is a very difficult stage of development and this is why we want to support our students even more. We believe that such an approach will make it easier and less stressful for our students and that each of them will make correct and individual choices on which university they want to attend.
