About the school

There are ca. 180 pupils on roll (+ 37 pupils of sixth form) and some of them have statements of special educational needs.
 

The School is based in an impressive 16th Century Manor House nestled in 150 acres of historic parkland.

Years 7 to 10 live in Bligh House, and Year 11 live in Main Hall – the original 16th Century Manor House.  Girls are encouraged to have their input into the decoration of the accommodation.

Academic life

In Years 7 to 9, girls follow the English National Curriculum.  In Years 10 and 11, girls study for GCSE and IGCSE qualifications and from September 2018, the Sixth Form will study a broad curriculum based around A Levels. For those that require it, extra help is available for those for whom English is not their first language  or those with specific learning needs.

In addition, This boarding School offers a range of Short Courses.  These include One Year GCSE/IGCSEs course, an Intensive English Language Support Programme (designed for students who do not yet have the level of English required to access the full curriculum at Cobham Hall) and a short stay/Pre-A Level course.
