About the school
This junior boarding school offers many wonderful facilities to which the boarding community have full access; all in the beautiful backdrop of Cranmore Hall and its surrounding fields and farm land. The swimming pool, which can be open air or covered, is in use all year round. Children can also use the floodlit tennis courts, playing fields, woodland, astro turf, gymnasium, all weather cycle track and a host of other areas. Within the boarding house lies a vibrant and well used Common Room. Currently it boasts a large screen TV and DVD player, Nintendo Wii, table tennis, pool and table football tables. It is a lively and exciting place for children to meet and interact with each other. An incredible amount of supervised activities are on offer to all of our pupils. Further to this this junior boarding school also offers specific clubs for boarders in the evening that are designed to increase and broaden their skills, aptitudes and interest. Current clubs include squash, cookery, targets, aerobics, game playing and debating, amongst others.
