Last Thursday saw the first of Sixth Form Parents Evenings, this time for parents and guardians of Lower Sixth students, with an Upper Sixth Parents Evening to follow on 12 February.
Teachers have reported on the very favourable comments they received from parents not only about teaching but the great sense of warmth, commitment and enthusiasm at d'Overbroeck's.
Next week is half term. Before we get to that however, both Lower and Upper Sixth students will be sitting mock exams on Thursday and Friday. Students should have a test scheduled in all their A Level subjects apart from Art, Photography and Textiles. There will be two sessions a day at 9am and 2pm. The main exam hall is the Examination Hall in Ewert House, the University of Oxford building in Summertown and all students will have received an email with an individual timetable.
Today (Monday) is the UCAS deadline for students applying for Oxbridge, Medical, Dental and Veterinary courses.
