Introduction

Saint John Paul II Academy is a private school in Boca Raton that holds itself to an incredibly high standard in how it conducts its operations in accordance to its mission statement. Saint John Paul II Academy's adherence to the Lasallian tradition of education truly separates it from any other high school. Everyday, students are encouraged to take a greater responsibility for their own education, explore new service opportunities and immerse themselves in justice education, and gain a greater appreciation for diversity within their own community. Saint John Paul II Academy provides opportunities for students to explore different departments, with AP and honors level courses in 8 of their 9 departments for students to challenge themselves. In addition, the Dual Enrollment Program set up for students to earn university credit while at the academy creates pathways for students to continue their education at an even higher level than many high schools are able to offer. These programs allow gifted students to reach even higher, removing any limits that may exist on their education. Finally, student involvement is encouraged at Saint John Paul II Academy, with an incredible fine arts and athletics program and the necessary facilities provided to students to explore and grow in these areas.

Located on a safe, park-like, 30-acre campus in the heart of Florida’s Atlantic Coast, the Amerigo Boca Raton campus offers students everything they need to grow as students and become successful. Saint John Paul II Academy’s facilities include modern academic wings with fully equipped science labs, exposing students to digital microscopes and 3D printers and 1:1 iPad Program. With all athletic teams given their own practice spaces close or near campus, students are encouraged to participate in athletics or simply exercise at the recently renovated fitness center. All students have access to a full-time athletic trainer on campus through the athletic partnership the school has with XPE Sports. An award-winning fine arts department with productions nominated for and recipients of the Cappies Awards resides in the 800-seat auditorium where recognized productions are performed.

Saint John Paul II Academy fulfills its mission to form students in the Catholic faith using the Gospel as its guide. The life of the school is centered on the teaching of Christ and the essential elements of Lasallian educational practice.

Informed by Saint John Baptist De La Salle, the Brothers of the Christian Schools and lay colleagues at Saint John Paul II Academy provide a diverse community of young men and women with a broad and balanced human and Christian education through programs that promote leadership, achievement, and service within school, church, and community.

Saint John Paul II Academy is a community that promotes a zeal for learning and a respect for individuality. The faculty holds students to high standards of intellectual and moral development, encouraging them to reach their potential and preparing them to face the challenges of the modern world. Campus ministry programs and service opportunities help students develop relationships with God, family, and community.

Anchored in a safe, secure residential neighborhood located just minutes from the Saint John Paul II Academy campus, students live at the Amerigo Boca Raton Residential Campus and have access to all of the amenities of home with 24/7 on-site support from Residential life personnel.
