Rochester Independent College in Rochester, Kent, UK is a coeducational boarding school for boys and girls.
In fact our College has always been international school, both in spirit and in the collection of students and teachers who work with us. What is interesting, The Royal Thai government send some of their most talented and scholarship awarder students to our school in order to practice and prepare for entry to universities such as Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, Warwick and the LSE.
RIC’s main purpose is to be an innovative school and change some people’s approach towards education. We encourage our pupils to follow their passions and dreams and to choose freely from a wide range of GCSE subjects, as well as we offer them a chance for adjustment the programmes to their own abilities and skills. Rochester Independent College offers a different and alternative way of teaching and learning in sixth form and being a great advantage before stepping into university reality. We have very small classes which are a substantial help to know our students individually and help them when they need our guidance and assistance. All of these leads to excellent results. Because we are a co-educational school all of the candidates are welcomed and may become both day and boarding students.
Our students achieve the best grades at A level in fundamental academic subjects and this only proves how well they are prepared for their higher university. As a result, RIC’s university destinations list is dominated each year by entries to the oldest and the most elite universities and colleges.
RIC has one of the largest private school sixth forms in Kent and our experience in guiding students through the tough process of university choice and application makes us the best in what we are doing.
We offer 38 A level subjects with no subject combination restrictions. We are based on the excellence in Maths and Science and this success continues up to present days.
