We are presenting one of top boarding schools in England. Founded in 1855, Epsom College is situated in 84 acres of parkland estate close to Epsom Downs and 15 miles from central London. Epsom is one of the most successful co-educational boarding and day schools in the UK for talented all-round boys and girls aged 11–18.
This top UK boarding school provides a stimulating and rewarding environment for academic success. The facilities are first class; more than 50 well-equipped classrooms are grouped by department, each with its own specialist resource base and dedicated information technology. A striking modern library with over 25,000 books, newspapers and periodicals encourages both traditional and modern approaches to study and information retrieval. Recent additions to the range of resources include a fully equipped fitness suite, a second drama studio and a new dance studio. Over £4m has been spent over the past two years on the refurbishment of boarding accommodation.
There is a varied and balanced range of subjects in this one of the most successful boarding school, including four modern languages and separate sciences for all. IGCSE examinations are sat in the core subjects. Epsom opened a new Lower School in 2016, taking pupils at 11+. For our large Sixth Form of over 325 pupils, there is an enormous choice of subject combinations which meets the needs of keen specialists as well as generalists. A stimulating Sixth-Form curriculum of A-levels, Extended Projects and Critical Thinking is followed. Academic results of this top UK boarding school are very high, placed in the top 20 of all co-ed UK boarding schools. Almost all leavers go on to degree courses, with most going to the Russell Group or 1994 research led-universities, in a wide range of subjects.
