Organisation and Structure
There are seven year groups in the school and their organisation reflects that of the United Kingdom.

In Key Stage 3, BIS students take the following subjects:

In Key Stage 4 BIS students take English Language and Mathematics and six of the following at IGCSE level:
They also take a general Physical Education course and Personal and Social Education.
In Year 10 students take an IGCSE in English as a Second Language and in Year 11 they take English as a First Language at IGCSE level. This gives a typical BIS student nine IGCSE subjects.
Key Stage 5 (A Level) Curriculum
A range of courses are offered which are tailored to meet individual student needs where timetabling permits. Students normally offer four subjects at AS Level in Year 12 before moving on to offer three at A2 in Year 13.
