We offer all three International Baccalaureate programs: PYP (Primary Years Program) for JK to Grade 6, MYP (Middle Years Program) for Grades 7 to 10 and the DP (Diploma Program) for Grades 11 & 12. This year’s Boarding Program has 62 girls from 20 different countries, ranging from Grade 8 to Grade 12. Founded in 1903, Branksome Hall is an
independent school for girls. Today, the school rests on a 13-acre campus in downtown
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The school was founded by Miss Margaret Scott as the
first non-denominational all-girls school in Toronto.
Over the years, both the campus and student enrolment have expanded.
Branksome’s campus now includes more than sixteen buildings, ranging from
heritage homes to modern structures, all linked by state-of-the-art technology.
While today’s IB World School is globally minded and has a diverse student
body, Branksome Hall has retained many of its early Scottish traditions.

Dorm facilities: The communal living experience in residence provides a home away from home for our 62 residence students, who live in one of three beautiful heritage homes on campus.
We have three residences: Ainslie House, Sherborne House and Principal's

||As a Branksome student, you are encouraged to get involved in our Athletics program, at whatever level you can. We have many competitive sports team, organized by term and age, as well as intramurals for sport development. What better way can there be to develop physical fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork, commitment, and an appreciation for active living?
There are over 50 clubs and societies that students can join, most of which are open to everyone, no matter your grade level or experience. The clubs have ongoing enrolment, which means you can join at any point in the school year. There are many opportunities to be involved in the arts (theatre, choirs, bands and writer’s guilds), various clubs (animal rights, business, culinary, film, social justice, and more), leadership (school prefects to clan reps and chieftains) and local, national and international community service opportunities.

Our new Athletic and Wellness centre (to be completed in fall, 2014) will include a 25-metre, salt water swimming pool, a smaller training pool, double gymnasium, yoga studio, dance studio, spinning studio, fitness centre and weight room, large cafeteria and rooftop terrace.
|Culture and arts:
Making the arts a part of your Branksome experience is possible in so many ways -- from involvement in music ensembles to conservatory lessons, to film production, to theatrical performances with student-led crews and technicians.
We offer a stimulating Visual Arts Program that provides opportunities to work in a variety of media, from clay and collage to painting and printmaking.
In the Senior School, our Film Program develops students’ knowledge and skills in filmmaking and instills in them an appreciation for this art form.
Girls of all ages enjoy our Theatre Arts Program. Vocal and Instrumental music fills the halls throughout Branksome’s campus.
