Why Should You Choose this School?

GCSE results are good and consistently above the national average.  Boarders’ success rates at GCSE are often higher than that of day students.  After their GCSEs, most boarders stay on to study A levels at Ashby School which prepares them thoroughly for University and their life beyond.

Ashby School has one of the largest and most successful Sixth Forms in Leicestershire. The impressive Sixth Form Centre currently caters for almost 600 students.

In 2017, examination results were excellent. More than 50 per cent of all passes were at top grades A*,  A and B.

Seventy six per cent of A level passes were at A* - C.

Results like these allow the school to retain its proud tradition of excellence and high achievement at post-16 level.
